Can you pick the best picture of 2021?

Your review could be a “winner” – just send us your review of a 2021 Academy Award Best Picture Nominee and you’re automatically entered to win. One lucky reviewer of the winning film will win a $50 Amazon Gift Card and another reviewer – who writes the review that gets the most page views – will win another $50 gift card.

Contest Rules

1.  Movie reviews must be of a film nominated for the 2021 Academy Award for Best Picture.

2.  All entries must be received no later than noon CDT on Sunday, March 27.

3.  All entries will go through a screening process to make sure they conform to the size requirement (between 500 and 2,500 words in length) and meet the standards set in the PGS terms of conduct.

4.  Any entry deemed to be “spam” or overtly promotional in nature will be rejected.

5.  Reviews that pass the screening process will be posted immediately to the PGS website.

6.  Every review that gets posted to the PGS website will be promoted on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, and Instagram.

7.  The day after the Best Picture statue is awarded (March 28, 2022), we’ll use an online random number generator to help select a winning review from among ALL of the reviews for the winning movie.

8.  On March 28, 2022, we shall also identify the review that received the most pageviews bewteen the time of its posting to the PGS website and 12:01 am, on 03/28/22 (right after the Academy Award telecast is complete.

9.  The review with the most pageviews by 12:01 am (CDT) on March 28, will also be deemed a prize winner.

10.  The judges’ determinations on entry qualifications and final selection are final and cannot be appealed.

11.  Winners will be notified by 5pm (CDT) on Wednesday, March 30 and have until 4pm (CDT) on Friday, April 1 to claim their prize. Failure to claim the prize by the deadline may result in the judge electing to select and notify another winner. If that happens, the original winner cannot claim the prize.
